Tom Polk Chief Operating Officer, Customer Technical Support, Outside Sales, Project Development Tom
Polk started PDS, Inc. in 1994. Prior
to that, he was a regional vice president responsible for the northeast sales
region for all market segments. During
this time, he developed ABB’s manufacturer’s representative and distribution
programs for the industrial, construction, OEM and electric utility markets.
He held these responsibilities for 6 years.
Before joining ABB, he was employed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
There, he was responsible for developing the distributor programs for the
Electric utility market. He also was
an outside sales person responsible for distribution.
In addition, he held positions as generation and nuclear account manager
and transmission and distribution account manager.
He
graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University
of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1986 and an Associates Degree in Electrical
Engineering from Southeast Community College in 1979.
His
responsibilities with PDS include outside sales, and technical support for all
customers. He is responsible for all
project development. He is also the
Chief Operating Officer for PDS, Inc.
